Taylor Swift even listed fun facts about her video that included “it’s all in one take, shot with one camera, 5 costume changes, and woodland creatures.”

Taylor’s title track for her new album has also set a female digital sales record- and has had the second-largest overall digital sales week in history. The song has already been at number one for two weeks on Billboard’s Hot 100.

This particular track is from the country pop singer’s fourth studio album called “Red” that will be available for purchase in the United States on October 22. It consists of 16 tracks in which Taylor hand-picked the people she has always been hoping to work with.

Can this female MC save the flat-lining female rap game? Fellow naughty girl Azealia Banks recently released the music video for her hit single “1991,” a few days before the start of her scheduled U.K. tour. The new music video begins with a shot of the rapper’s physique, followed by several close-up shots of her face’s different features.

The rapper, who caused musch controversy with her Dazed & Confused magazine cover, also revealed the release of her debut album entitled “Broke With Expensive Taste” via a post on her official Twitter account.

She wrote, “Broke With Expensive Taste will be out first quarter of 2013 on Feb 12. (2/12).” The album will be preceded by a series of concerts which will start on September 28 at the Machester Academy and end on October 12 at the Shepherds Bush Empire.

Rumors have also been circulating that Lady GaGa and Banks are talking about working together. This rumor arose after the two artists gave hints while exchanging tweets. Banks wrote on one of her tweets, “When mother monster calls,” and the “Born This Way” songstress followed it up with “@AZEALIABANKS can you make ’99 Problems’ my ring tone for when I call you, and then shout B**** AINT ONE at me when you pick up?”

The 21-year-old lyricist was formerly known as Miss Bank$ when she was still signed to XL Recordings. After her departure from the label, she moved to Montreal and used YouTube as her medium for her demo tracks. Just this year, she won Billboard’s New Style Icon Award and NME’s Philip Hall Radar Award. In a Nicki Minaj plagued world, many people are seeing Azealia as a true lyricist and perhaps savoir of the female rap game? 1991 – Azealia Banks (Explicit)

In a recent attempt to become radio-friendly and sell albums/singles, Alicia Keys collaborates with eccentric female rapper, Nicki Minaj on the remix version of this track entitled “Girl on Fire (Inferno).“The remix is slightly different from the original version – it features an added piano tune instead of the electric guitar riff that can be heard on the original mix. Even though it’s a remix, this track still showcases Keys’ raw and soulful vocal.

It’s rather bittersweet, but the first promo for “Gossip Girl” season 6 hints at a happy ending for its two main female characters, Serena and Blair. In the newly released teaser we see, Chuck, Blair, Nate and Dan attend what appears to be Serena’s wedding…insert collective gasps…..

The lucky guy is likely Steven Spence, an entrepreneur who is portrayed by Barry Watson. The well-suited guy stands next to Serena who is wearing a white dress. The video also teases a possible Chair reunion. “I’m all in,” Blair says to Chuck, who replies, “My bet’s on us.” Hmm, we wonder what these two have in store for us this season?

“Gossip Girl” returns for its shortened ten episodes, action-packed final season on Monday, October 8 at 9 P.M. on The CW.

“We couldn’t be more excited to be back on the stage performing together again! Being on stage is like home for us,” Kevin said. Joe added, “Our fans have been so supportive with all of our individual projects, and we couldn’t think of a better way to thank them than with new material.”

The band will play old and new materials to be debuted 2013. Kevin told E! Online that the NYC gig is the “only known concert right now in the U.S. for the Jonas Brothers this year”. He said, “We’re trying to make it a big coming-home blowout.”

Tickets are on sale Friday, August 24. “Get you’re tickets Fast! One show!” Joe tweeted.

Speaking of the band’s album that will arrive next year, Kevin told E!, “We are in the studio and we’re doing a lot of work right now just hoping for the best. The music is a change, its growing. It’s constantly changing and it’s kind of surprising how much we’re taking the journey of it all. I’m kind of excited.”

For added drama, Drake & Riri both will be competing against Chris Brown in separate categories; Rihanna goes head-to-head with Brown for Best Choreography and Drake faces Brown for Best Male Video. (Rihanna is also featured guest in Drake’s heavily nominated “Take Care” as well as Coldplay’s “Princess of China,” which has two nominations.)

Riri’s best gal pal Katy Perry nabbed four nominations while The Throne’s Jay-Z and Kanye, Beyoncé, Coldplay, M.I.A., Nicki Minaj and Frank Ocean all walked away with three.

Lana Del Rey, Chris Brown, and Justin Bieber each scored two nominations.

i wonder…. hmm who’s name seams to be left off the list entirely? Last year’s pseudo-host Lady Gaga — even though both her “Marry the Night” and “Yoü and I” videos were eligible and dominated the airwaves.

blown Away was written by Chris Tompkins, Josh Kear and produced by Mark Bright. It serves as the second official single from her fourth studio album. The video definitely doesn’t disappoint. By far my favorite Carrie Underwood song to date.

”We wanted to create this modern-day, tragic Wizard of Oz mini-movie,” Underwood says in a recent interview.
